John Adams to Serve as Keeney for Congress Finance Chair
GOOCHLAND, Va. – Building on key endorsements from former Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell and State Senator Siobhan Dunnavant, Taylor Keeney is proud to announce John Adams, a Chesterfield native and the 2017 Republican nominee for Attorney General, as Finance Chair of her campaign for the 7th Congressional District.
“When I decided to run for attorney general I often got asked why I would put my young family through it,” said John Adams. “To me it was simple: service is still an honorable calling; we need people of integrity and experience to step forward. That is Taylor Keeney. She is a remarkable person, with an uncommon drive to do good, to make a difference. As a Chesterfield native, I’m thrilled she is stepping up to serve this community and to help bend the arc of our country back towards freedom. Taylor is a strong, conservative woman who will win this nomination and defeat Rep. Spanberger next November. I’m all in, Keeney Can!”
“I’m honored to have John’s support and while it’s easy to get caught up in his remarkable accomplishments – from serving as a Navy Officer and later as an associate counsel to the President of the United States to clerking for Justice Clarence Thomas and being a federal prosecutor – it’s his devotion to his family and community that resonates with me,” said Taylor Keeney. “John knows the 7th District, he grew up in Chesterfield and now he and his wife are raising their four boys here. I’m going to win this race to deliver for Central Virginia families and safeguard our communities from the radical left policies of Washington, and I am excited to have John’s leadership to get it done.”
