Former Governor Bob McDonnell Endorses Taylor Keeney for Congress
GOOCHLAND, Va. – Former Virginia Governor Robert F. McDonnell announced his endorsement of Taylor Keeney’s campaign for the 7th Congressional District in Virginia.
“Taylor has a servant’s heart and a unique understanding of the issues most important to people in Virginia’s Seventh Congressional District,” said Governor McDonnell. “Taylor has long been dedicated to improving the lives of Virginians across the Seventh District and the Commonwealth. Look no further than her public service and nonprofit leadership for children and families as evidence of her commitment to her community. She will take that same problem solving experience and understanding of the policy challenges we face to bring conservative leadership that Central Virginia wants and needs.”
“I’m honored to have Governor McDonnell’s support,” said Keeney. “Governor McDonnell knows how to bring people together, build consensus and find conservative solutions to problems across Virginia. It was while serving in his Administration that I developed a strong understanding of policy and how to get things done, and will use that background in Congress to tackle the big issues we are facing today in Virginia and nationwide.”
